Mint

A characteristic feature of the many species of mint is the typical mint flavor. Mint is originally from Asia. Due to their powerful flavor, peppermint and regular mint are most suitable as kitchen herbs.
There are many varieties of mint. Some smell like apples, while others are more reminiscent of lemon. The mint species that we cultivate are regular mint and peppermint.

Flavor

The herb goes well with salads, soups and sauces. It also combines well with courgette, tomato and lamb. Mint also combines deliciously with desserts and can be used decoratively. A finely-chopped mint leaf will also give mayonnaise an interesting taste.

Storage

Fresh mint will stay good in the vegetable drawer of your fridge for a few days.
